Auto-return Function (with the world’s first full-time all channel active control during RTH)

FreeX SkyView Quadcopter with FreeX flight controller offers very precise and reliable Auto Return to home both on Demand and on failsafe.Pilots can choose from two modes upon control signal lose (Failsafe)

  • Hover at last known position: Once the control signals from Radio control are lost, QuadCopter will hold its last know position and will hover at same altitude and GPS position. It will not return to home. This is the best feature to use if you are flying in an area with tall trees or flying inside a city. If failsafe RTH activates and QuadCopter flies back to home, there is a possibility; it will crash into any building or Tree in its way back home. So users can select Hover on Last known position Failsafe on their radio control with an easy flip of Failsafe mode switch before flight. Now if control signals are lost, Failsafe will keep the QuadCopter hovering at last known signals position. Users can then walk or drive closer to get the QuadCopter back in control range and start flying again.
  • Auto Return to home and Land: If this mode is selected using Radio Failsafe switch before flight, once the control signals are lost, QuadCopter will fly back to home (take off position) and land. During this time, as soon as QuadCopter comes back to range, user can gain full control over quad and descend quickly, ascend again if there is something on the landing zone, and or control the quad to avoid trees, poles or buildings on the way back to home (once control signals are established)
  • Auto Return to home and Land on demand: Feeling tired and boring to fly back home? No problems. Users can select Return to home and activate RTH failsafe with a simple flip of a Flight mode switch and your quadcopter will fly back to home and land. During this time, users will have full control over quad to descend quickly, ascend again if there is something on the landing zone, and or control the quad to avoid trees, poles or buildings on the way back to home. Once users leave the sticks to center, Quadcopter will resume its return to home and landing.
